For the third consecutive year we visited Normandy in the D-Day period. There is just no other European historical WW2 location that has changed so little throughout the years. Carving roads, impenetrable hedgerows and ancient villages. The scent of garlic, fresh baked croissants, spicy cheeses and all of a sudden a US Willys Jeep.
With a few moderation's I transformed my picture into a black and white version in which I removed most of the modern elements. The most beautiful fact? The Jeep crew is 100% Dutch.

The vehicle is named 'Mighty Green', is marked as 502nd PIR 101st Airborne Division and is equipped with a trailer and signal panel. In the back of the picture you can see a light tank.
